Using local skimmer in ARRL RTTY Roundup, category question.

Hi, I am trying to find out if using local RTTY skimmer (located in the shack) in ARRL RTTY Roundup allowed for SO category or it is only allowed for Single Operator Unlimited (SOU) category. In the rules there is this: Spotting/QSO Finding Assistance: "Use of any technology that provides call sign or multiplier identification of a signal to the operator". Some people say that if the skimmer is located in the shack it is not assistance but I need to know for sure. Thank you, Nick NA3M |
