Ground | KD0ZXY | on 4/5/21 |
I’m putting an OCF dipole, 2 10’steel masts on gables, 1 on a steel mast on a shed 75’. away. It will be coax from the feed point (4:1 current balun), air gap surge coupler before entering house. Coax from there to 1:1 balun near tuner. Everything is grounded to a common earth ground. I’m a newbee, and I’m wondering if and why I have to ground the 10’ steel mast - total height above ground is 26’. Pls comment Thanx, KD0ZXY |
