Hi guys, I have a coaxial feed line running from the bottom of the G5RV jr (inverted V) ribbon (via an adapter) to a roof gutter connection and then into my house. The bottom of the GR5V jr ribbon has a stretchy line in one direction and my coax in the other to maintain the vertical alignment of the ribbon. The problem is that ants are crawling along my feedline and onto my roof now. I think they pass along my roof down the other side of my house and onto someone else's property. But, I am worried about them in the roof. How does everyone else deal with this problem. I have tried spraying the connections, coax, but after the next rain fall they are back. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. thanks James |
