Hello, I'm Scott and am new to ARRL and ham radio. I am currently studying for my license and recently acquired a handheld radio that will allow me access 2meters and 75 cm. I'm brand new to this, so my question is basic. I do not quite understand how to enter repeater info into my radio. Can you please explain how I can obtain the frequencies for both send and receive from my local repeaters? I'm guessing that my Baofeng will walk me through the inputting steps, but any help would be great. I'm hoping to have my license by end of October. Thanks so much.
