Dear San Francisco Section Members,

I am excited to share two new ways for us to connect, collaborate, and strengthen our amateur radio community across the San Francisco Section.

As your ARRL San Francisco Section Manager, I am pleased to introduce our new Section website, created to better serve our members across San Francisco, Marin, Sonoma, Lake, Mendocino, Humboldt, and Del Norte counties.

The goal of this new site is to provide a central place for news, announcements, upcoming events, resources, volunteer opportunities, and updates from around the Section. I hope it becomes a useful and active hub for all of us. I hope you guys help me showcase the good work you do at individual, small group or club level in your county. 

I am also happy to announce the launch of our new San Francisco Section Discord server.

This is a free community space for members of our Section to join, connect, ask questions, share projects, discuss activities, and build stronger ties with fellow operators across all seven counties. Whether you are a new ham, a long-time operator, active in emergency communications, contesting, public service, technical experimentation, or just looking to meet others in the hobby, I encourage you to join us.

These new platforms are meant to help give our Section a stronger voice, make it easier to share information, and create more opportunities for participation and community. I warmly invite you to visit the website, join the Discord server, and help us make both a success.
